Protecting your personal information is a responsibility I take seriously. This policy explains what information is collected when you use this site, for what purposes, who it is shared with, how long it is kept, and how you can exercise your rights. It is written in accordance with Quebec’s Act to modernize legislative provisions respecting the protection of personal information(“Law 25”).
1. Person responsible for your information
Delphine Roussin, residential real estate broker with Royal LePage Blanc et Noir, is responsible for the personal information collected through this site.
6485, rue Doris-Lussier, bureau 102, Boisbriand (Québec) J7H 0E8
Telephone: 438 396 1084
Email: delphineroussin@royallepage.ca
2. Information collected
The site only collects the information you choose to provide by filling out one of these forms:
- Contact form: first and last name, email, phone number, message.
- Confidential questionnaire (“quiz”): your intention (selling or buying), property type, first and last name, email, phone number, and your consents.
- Newsletter: first and last name, email, and your explicit consent to receive my communications.
No audience-analytics tool (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, etc.) and no third-party advertising script is loaded on this site.
3. Purposes
Your information is used to:
- Respond to your requests for information or appointments;
- Support you in a real estate project (buying, selling, valuation, listing and marketing);
- Send you — only if you have consented to it — communications about my activities, new listings or blog posts.
Your information is never used for automated profiling, nor sold to any third party.
4. Service providers and hosting
To keep the site running, a few technical service providers process your information on my behalf, strictly to the extent required for their role:
- Supabase Inc. — database and authentication, hosted in the Canada Central region, to store the inquiries received and administration data.
- Resend, Inc. — sends notification emails to Delphine when a new inquiry is received.
- Vercel Inc. — hosting of the site’s static pages (delivered through their global network).
Some of these providers may operate servers outside Quebec. Standard contractual clauses govern the processing of your information so that it receives a level of protection equivalent to what Law 25 requires.
5. Retention periods
Your information is kept for as long as necessary for the purposes described above, taking into account the regulatory obligations that apply to real estate brokerage:
- Contact inquiries with no follow-up: 24 months at most, then deleted.
- Transaction files: 7 years after the transaction ends, in accordance with the requirements of the OACIQ (Organisme d’autoréglementation du courtage immobilier du Québec, Quebec’s real estate self-regulatory body).
- Newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe, then deleted without undue delay.
6. Your rights
Under Law 25, you have the right:
- to access your information;
- to have it corrected if it is inaccurate, incomplete or ambiguous;
- to withdraw your consent, at any time;
- to request that the dissemination of information cease or that it be de-indexed;
- to obtain your information in a structured, commonly used technological format (portability);
- to file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec (Quebec’s access-to-information commission) if you believe your rights have not been respected.
To exercise any of these rights, write to delphineroussin@royallepage.ca. A response will be sent to you within 30 days of receiving your request.
